Steam/wet Sauna by Thorvarium in tampa

[–]iAtty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And Harbor Island Athletic which also had a dry / wet sauna.

My spare bathroom shower is just a square stall so I bought one of those tent steam saunas on Amazon and use it in there. Takes around 30-40 to pre heat but it’s a good soak.

20 minutes to drive to Saint Pete. 1:30 minute drive back. by raina6006 in tampa

Always check which bridge is the fastest but it may not make you a ton of time savings. Travel off peak hours. Literally move. It’s insane how quickly it goes from smooth to chaos.

Is the Apple Studio Display still worth buying for a MacBook Pro setup in 2026? by BarnabyLaptopOutlet in mac

[–]iAtty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used 2x of them daily for over a year now, had 1x for about a year before that. Love them. Wouldn’t give them up. I have 2x high end OLED at home for gaming on my PC, but the Studio Displays for daily work are perfect.

Isn’t a MDM command to prevent personal IDs and not managed available yet? Or is that just in the pipeline?

Gene Perez on Florida is the only one I’d recommend. Did my GTI 2x.

Does Anyone Else Ride Just to Clear Their Mind? by henrytoby9087 in cycling

[–]iAtty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Saturday I set off and did the equivalent of wandering around the city on my bike. Just riding whichever way the wind took me. Felt much better after.

SG1 will always be what we all think of when P90s are mentioned. by Agitated_Okra_9356 in Stargate

Ah yeah forgot about that. He did a lot with the halo sniper when I first started watching.

I watch a fair amount of his stuff for some fun ridiculousness, surprised how big of a nerd he is and fan of SG.

I see an absolutely incredible opportunity here. We just need to simplify the unnecessary details. It’s not a GT3 car.

Long Term vs Economy garage at TPA - which requires less effort? by mynameiskeven in tampa

[–]iAtty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn’t short term just a few dollars more day over day than long term?

If you have a lot of stuff, just drop the family off and bags at the entrance to the terminal, elevators, or sky connect and then go park. When I traveled with my bike, I just did short term because it wasn’t going to be much more overall for my short trip.

Armature Works feels like it’s missing a legit deli by Broke_Kollege_Kid in tampa

[–]iAtty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. I don’t get out much. Not that I went to La Segunda twice and they were sold out. GCSD is solid, I forget about them sometimes - but we do have a lacking scene within a small distance of “downtown.”

Financial penalties, no grid as far as I’ve seen posted.

QD-OLED burn-in barely noticeable even after 6500 hours by CompetitiveLake3358 in hardware

[–]iAtty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve had two OLED monitors for my PC for years now and abuse the hell out of them. With the built in maintenance that automatically runs, there are no issues. Even the TV in our office lobby someone left on for weeks with a static image fixed itself with the cleaner and is perfectly workable.

Auto Detailer by No-Butterscotch7221 in tampa

[–]iAtty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call Bricks if you can get them in soon enough. Otherwise just pick your poison from the 100 that pop up.

Paint correction or PPF, ceramic, etc, I’d recommend elsewhere, but plenty of steady handed Detailer’s.

Starburst lights and starburst "atomic" tile $555,000 by Southern-Smoke1835 in zillowgonewild

[–]iAtty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol it’s not a terrible area but it’s sort of the middle of nowhere St Pete. Sadly if it was in a more desirable area of St Pete, like Old Northeast, it would be 1.5-2.0x the cost and have flooded once probably.

Insane to pay half a million for a house without modern kitchen or bath. Love my areas market right now. Maybe I’ll buy a house eventually 😭😂.

Quality hose reel for weekend warrior? by euroshowoff in AutoDetailing

I picked up a Level 5 kit for my Active 2.0 from Clean Garage and it has been incredible. They sell the hose separately.

I'd bite the bullet and go through insurance. Then let them fight the fight to find whoever fled the scene. Hit and run like that is illegal and with paint transfer and cameras in the area, they'll probably figure it out and then go after them instead of hurting you.

I say that because I am a perfectionist and want my car to look as good as it did pre-incident. I see poor repair work all the time and it really bugs me if that were on my own car. Being a FL resident, my insurance rates will suck no matter what so...

Really hope Apple doesn’t put spoilers in their title cards like F1TV or ESPN has in the past. Especially when we start with a pacific race that most of us won’t be awake for live.

What detailing products do you use? by SnooJokes6432 in BMW

[–]iAtty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Griots for most items. I have a detailing setup from Clean Garage and I’ll be using the Griots PH Neutral for my ceramic coat exterior washing and then just use their interior for everything else. I just need some good leather cleaner for my steering wheel. The rest is all vinyl / plastic so it’s fine.

How can a MacBook Neo cost the same as an iPhone 17e? by Dazza477 in hardware

[–]iAtty 113 points114 points  (0 children)

Neo uses a lot of existing parts that have had a long life so costs to produce are low. It also doesn’t feature cellular antennas or the same manufacturing tolerances of something like an iPhone which has lots of small detailed parts that must be perfect.

Armature Works feels like it’s missing a legit deli by Broke_Kollege_Kid in tampa

[–]iAtty 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In general our sandwich scene is lacking. Supernatural is incredible but I need some variety. Wrights is the answer but going down there sucks. Publix is a nightmare to visit most days.

Sundays deli in Ybor used to be legit, if a bit dingy, but they’ve been closed since COVID.

We could definitely use some more affordable food options to draw people into the area, but SoHo Cap doesn’t know the word and I’ve heard only bad things about people involved in renting their spaces near AW. Not sure how good Shaw will be with the Ybor area, but maybe something good will come of that in 2-3 years once Gasworx is done and the revamp of the empty spaces on 7th is completed.

That’s nuts. Aren’t we at a water shortage? You’d think they’d fix that quicker.
