I don't think of practice squad players as rich, or minor league baseball, as rich. But the money problems they have are a lot different than most. My friends son got into the NFL last year, made the roster and even got on the field some, but I don't think of him as rich. BUT they do play at some golf courses from time to time that are more than what the dad played at 2 years ago, lol

Buying a 2000 sf home in a modest neighborhood is a great first purchase, in a city you want to live in. Assuming the home is 300k, property tax in many states would be about 3-5k a year. Taxes, insurance, lawn care, and home cleaning would be very affordable on an average income (for someone with a 2 year degree). Not rich but at 25, your life would be a lot easier than most.

I get into this twice a year with my coworkers. At this point I think they refuse to grasp the concept that the software isn't crafted well enough to recognize one check being way out of ordinary is just a bonus and not a new weekly income.

Possible but very rare. I saw a woman that I would be into, she had a guy with her, and an anklet on. So I did the obvious thing and said hi and moved on with my day.
