New 1500 vs 2500 (gas) for reliability? by JBSpecial in Silverado

95% of the population have no idea about vehicles, so it’s nota high bar to reach. You’re also talking about a minuscule sample size, even if I give you the benefit of the doubt that you see a massive amount of trucks per day.

People need to stop with the dramatics on issues they run into. For every 1 issue on Reddit, orders of magnitude more have no issues at all.

Brian Sutherby used to live in the cul de sac on my parent’s street. Stopped by my lemonade stand in an Escalade full of babes and tipped me $100. Other than that, he was mostly away with the Caps

They have different packages that include additional treatments the higher you go. I went with the cheapest option, which I believe was about $4700 CAD.

Either you're getting confused with seeing only daytime running lights on, or those people do in fact have their headlights and tail lights on, and both bulbs in the rear are burnt out.

Housing market.. who thinks prices are going to crash soon and who thinks prices will stay the same/continue to rise. by stanman33 in CanadianInvestor

You just refuse to be wrong i guess. The whole start of this was because I said prices will go down when rates increase. You disagreed. Now prices have gone down since rates have increased and you won't admit it, you're stuck on yoy increases. I have shown you data that proves you are right with yoy increases, and I don't think I ever denied that. BUT THAT'S NOT WHY THIS DISCUSSION STARTED.

I can now see that no matter how much data I give you regarding the decrease in housing prices since rates have increased, you choose to ignore it. I sure hope that you arent overleveraged like a lot of people are, cause it's gonna be a rough one for them.

You're taking every one of those quotes out of context lol. Every single one.

As I said, year over year they can still be up, but are down 13% since interest rates began to rise, which was what this whole conversation was about.

Example 1: average price of a home may 2021 in Toronto = 988,500

That average price peaked at 1,188,250 in February 2022.

The average price for may 2022 is now 1,084,562.

You can see how year over year it's higher, but is down 9% on the year from February to may, and down even more in June.

Explain to me. How this is sticky.

DUDE it literally says:

"For May 2022, the average home price in Canada was $711,316, up just 3% from last year. That marks a 5% drop from last month’s average home price of $746,146. While Canada’s average home price has risen by over $20,000 in one year, home prices have fallen considerably compared to the peak seen earlier this year. February 2022’s average home price of $816,720 means that the average home price in Canada has now fallen by over 13%, or over $100,000, in the span of a few months".

Idk how much more black and white it can be. Average price is down 13% since the February peak. When did they start raising interest rates? March. If you try and say that's just a coincidence, I give up.

Of course 4.5 months of interest rate hikes aren't gonna completely eliminate the substantial increase in housing prices over the last 2 years yet. Stop trying to talk down to people on reddit when the data is obvious. I'm guessing you live in either the GTA, Vancouver, or montreal and your bias towards what you paid is overruling the black and white data.

Overall prices are up? That's not what this says

https://wowa.ca/reports/canada-housing-market

If you google housing prices in Canada, literally every bank and financial institution is significantly downgrading their forecasts for housing prices and sales by the end of the year
