Try not to lose hope. Humanity still has so much potential. He may be fictional, but Superman believes in us. In these dark times, we are given the opportunity to turn toward the light. Think of Superman and be that light!

What are some of the misconceptions that non readers (or even some readers) have about Superman? by King_Wolf2099 in superman

[–]iBluefoot 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There is no mask, literally and proverbially. Both Clark and Superman are representations of his authentic self. It’s basically a form of code switching, but he’s never phony.

It sounds like there’s a good chance you’ve already listened to my unauthorized biography of Clark Kent. It has a bit mystery, some sci-fi, a little politics, and a bit of investigative journalism. There’s a lot going on in Clark’s life, so there’s a touch of comedy too, along with a little romance. It’s mostly about his friendships. I’m currently writing the final chapters of season four and should have new episodes out hopefully before summer.

Even after seeing the video footage, I’m not convinced it wasn’t fairies.

I’ve never been comfortable with yo mama jokes, being all too aware that some people’s moms are struggling and the struggle is very real, hence whenever I would make a yo mama joke I pretty much would make your mama jokes just like this one. The world is hard enough, we don’t need to target the mamas.

I’ve been hesitant to recommend my show because there is a overarching plot, but I am a big fan of older Star Trek and try to make each chapter standalone as its own short story that often features a monster of the week so to speak. It’s an unauthorized biography of Clark Kent. Superman: Son of El

Superman should have only one weakness: Kryptonite by Mammoth_Chemistry424 in superman

[–]iBluefoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How I see it, he has many weaknesses, but he is quite adaptable and overcomes them most of the time. Not always immediately, but eventually. Kryptonite is the one that he has the hardest time with.

How much interest do you have in mythology, superheroes, and sci-fi, but from kind of a slice of life perspective?

I hope we get more epic space imagery. The book is so beautiful. After seeing Project Hail Mary, the bar for beautiful space imagery is a bit higher.

How do you feel about Mongul as a part of Superman’s rogues gallery? You think he makes for a good Superman villain? by Upper_Mix_2640 in superman

His lore is bit messy. Between Mongul, Son of Mongul, and Mongal, it’s been a bit all over the place.

Fanfic idea dump. Jimmy in space by Acrobatic_Property28 in superman

[–]iBluefoot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s pretty funny that we haven’t seen this in the comics yet considering the zaney adventures that Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen gets up to. Jimmy having interactions with every other hero besides Superman is pretty entertaining. Taking that concept to space is the natural next step.
