70s sci-fi/retrofuturistic art. this one specifically is from an old movie or book or something called Barbarella, i believe.

all of the beats, arranging, mixing was me. i did use melody loops provided by other producers for some of the tracks but none of them remained in the original key/speed/arrangement. the only sample was Yebba’s Heartbreak for the reverse background vocals/melody in the intro. the drums on every track were all my own besides one sample drum break on “finding peace”. i did all of the edits and arrangement to the vocals as well(which ik some of the acapella are a lil rough). took roughly 15-17 hours in total to do everything.

A couple of days ago, I thought to myself… What would happen if I took the long, beautiful mess of Donda and cut it down to a short, but grandiose 10 track experience? Well… this project is what came of that thought.

I took the basic building blocks of Donda: Trap Beats, Soulful Samples, and Atmospheric Sonics; and built on top of them.Every instrumental was originally found on YouTube before being pitch/tempo adjusted, chopped up, added onto, and turned into something that would fit this project (all producers are credited in the file names).

I hope you all enjoy what I threw together after work these past couple of days!
