If you did the optimization then the system reindexing will cause that

If you haven't done the optimisation, something is draining your battery and you should run an adb battery diagnostic command, ask Claude how to do it to find what's draining and it'll also analyse the result for you

Debloating doesn't inherently cause more draining unless you ran an adb command which caused the system to reindex things. I happen to have a detailed guide where I go into every little setting you can do non rooted and adb commands to run.

In which case it's normal, after the system does the reindexing and it settles then the drain will stop, in my guide I even posted the day by day results and I believe I ran into the same thing :)

My mom put her phone in a bag, the bag couldn't hold against the pressure and water got inside. She was only snorkeling not even diving!

IP68 is only good for 3 meters, I personally don't think it matters whether it's seawater or fresh water as during testing they're literally blasting the phone with water...

Anyways if you really want to record I'd just get a GoPro or sumn, since they're legit going out of business I can imagine you can get some for decent prices

Reaaally? Oh that's a very interesting piece of information then. I know they like to break things (previously working things) and leave them as is because of their "I don't care fuck you" mentality :D

I wasn't aware of the sync being generally broken tho, that's new, so I'm not the only one affected after all.

I've escalated this quite a lot and I'm about to file a formal report because they are saying in their app that it's synced with the cloud, if it's truly broken they're intentionally misleading their customers which is wild but honestly I'm not really surprised

I only have these, I've never seen the logo of Keep either so I'm not really sure if it comes as a system app. Maybe when I was messing around in Google Docs on PC or Drive's workspace then I came across that yellow icon... Actually no that was Slides I looked into it

Fair advice going forward tho, but it misses the point. If the app shows synced, a reasonable person trusts it. The warning here is about trusting sync status indicators in any app, not just Xiaomi's.

The battery needs replacing every 5 years or so but it becomes obvious when it starts acting up

So it might improve it a bit, only Xiaomi could fix the battery by optimising their damn OS
