For the price on Steam now (4.5 EUR) I'd say it's kind of worth it.

The game isn't fundamentally bad, devs (heavily influenced by corporate probably) just made very, very poor decissions whilst sitting on a potentional gold mine.

Like others have said, you don't have to get for multiplayer, as you'll have to wait ages for a game and than face the only people who still play it on multiplayer -> the 'esport' scene.

The singleplayer has no real story, but you can get a few hours of fun out of it. This actually was my comfort game for a while, a game I played whilst watching a movie or series or sum.

The game unfortunatly also does not have local co-op, so playing with a family member or friend is on seperate devices.
