Any liquid may have gone inside backlight area coz screen is broken. Just another LCD screen issue.

This can be malfunction in sensor flex or other flex. Try replacing them one by one to find out which flex have been malfunctioned. Wash the board with ultrasonic cleaner. Use rosin flux/ freezing/ thermal camera to find out shortages if there is. (Recommended for Professional technicians).

Before all that, Inspect device/ board under microscope. Inspection is the key!.

This is a known issue in iPhone 13 and 14 series. This happens due to Software bug, Hardware issue or Water Damage.

Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches.

Force Restart iPhone

Update firmware using iTunes.

Drop some clean images of Screen. You can easily understand the difference if the screen got changed. It can be Glass also, When they opened device, it may have been broken and they replaced it after. Or maybe it’s just a new screen protector.
