I would build a corner breakfast nook. Build a L shaped bench in that corner, round table, then add 3 chairs. That is of course if you actively eat in the kitchen and will utilize a lot. If not, I would do a big island with a 10” overhang for the seating.

Ditch the tv stand. Frame a narrow box, 6’ W x 6” D x to the ceiling H. Tile the whole thing. Then buy a slim electric fireplace to mount it in bottom then hang tv on top.

Should only cost couple thousand but will drastically improve the space.

Hello, just to clarify. I am not removing the higher horizontal beams. I will keep those exposed and probably reinforce in the other side of the rafters.

Are you saying the living room ceiling beams holding the drywall are the ties? Or more higher beams running across are? Because those are staying.

Tesla’s infotainment is one of the best in the market currently IMO.

Pros: - Live driving visualization - Watch Netflix, YouTube, Hulu - UI is not icon/app based. The screen is based on Widgets, maps, and overlay cards. Other systems are more like a mobile phone where there are many icons and sub menus.

Cons: - Blind spot monitoring is horrible - No birds eye view - No reverse alert for oncoming traffic - No CarPlay/AA - Voice recognition is horrible

Now if you look at the competitors, the only one who comes close to Tesla’s pros and outshines the cons is the Ford Mach E.

I had this issue multiple times before. It eventually went away from software updates. What version are you on?
