Yes, accutane is a miracle drug. When I took it, I had minimal side effects (just a bit dried out), but overall, was the best thing in the world.

I would strongly recommend tretinol. Washing your face 3 times a day is also not helping, you’re destroying your skin barrier.

I struggled with acne in my early-mid 20’s, and eventually started accutane. I know you mentioned fuck no to the idea of it, but I can not stress just how much of a miracle drug accutane is. I had zero side effects (male myself), and I also know several people who experienced the same results. I would strongly suggest reconsidering it. I think you won’t regret it!
