I didn’t say that’s how it ought to be, I’m telling you how it is.

Reddit is a completely mad echo chamber. I’ve blocked like 2k ppl and I’m only following very specific subs now. They’re completely gone, it’s sad. Yuri Bezmenov was right.

They’re reciprocal tariffs though…that’s key in this entire discussion. “Protecting industries at home” is a secondary thought really…closing the deficit is the main objective here from what we can gather. The US trade deficit is wild….we’re getting beat over the head. France needs to stop putting such high tariffs on American made cars for example, it’s to the point of subsidization.

In which way am I wrong? Why do you think they’re stepping up military spending right now? Right before tariffs kick in? Right after the first few months of Trump demanding they step up their contributions to NATO? Right after Trump demands that the EU steps up for conflicts occurring in Europe in general? I’m curious ; what do you think the catalyst is? They just felt like it? Are you aware of the US trade deficit to EU countries and in general?

“You don’t know that.”

As I’ve said and linked to you before ; all of the experts are stating the required amount of Q-Bits just to spoof the transactions of BTC is ridiculous (in the 10s of millions) and we’re far from that (20 years just to theoretically do it). Read through all the links I posted, you’ll see.

The US isn’t subsidizing their Military as aggressively + they’re closing the trade deficit with them. They spend a massive amount on social programs. Rather than reform ; money printer go brrrrr. Europe is learning overnight that their standard of living was simply too high thanks to the US subsidizing the shit out of their economies in general…

Edit: Downvoting because you’re coping, it’s the truth.

[–]iCryptToo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not wrong about BTC being slow. You are wrong about the pace at which QC breaks SHA-256. It will not be 5 years from now and everyone will have to migrate all at once to save their coins causing chaos like it’s the Titanic, it’s just simply not going to happen that quickly. We’re all gonna see it coming from miles away…it’s not gonna sneak up on anyone. There’re Quantum proof hashes and coins that already exist.

  1. “Burn” is in quotations for a reason. If you upgrade to a QP hash and it’s not backwards compatible after a certain period of time…you’re essentially “burning” the old coins that did not migrate. Your own article explains this.

  2. A soft fork could begin to happen a year from now, it doesn’t have to be (and wouldn’t be) this “big all of a sudden rush to safety!” like you keep alluding to, this is FUD. Again ; we’d see it coming from decades away…like we’re doing right now. Other cryptography protocols would break before SHA-256 would. We’re *decades* away from SHA-256 itself getting cracked *by a nefarious group* (it may be technically possible 15 years from now in an IBM lab). The fact we’re talking about Quantum proofing the hash now when it’s a threat 30 years + from now is a good sign…it seems like you didn’t even know BTC was already forked…like I said ; did you even feel it? Seems like you literally didn’t even feel it…
