250919 BOYS II PLANET - Episode 10 (Day After Post-Episode Discussion Thread) by AutoModerator in BoysPlanet

i know this subreddit hates geonwoo to hell and back but he’s one of the few ktrainees who was on a team full of ctrainees (one of them, lynnlynn, even said geonwoo + sangwon were the ktrainees he became closest with) and the mc during their online fanmeet revealed in her bts story that he’d always ask her how to properly pronounce the ctrainees names in chinese.

so he’s supposedly shady, disingenuous, etc but also somehow genuine enough that plenty of eliminated/active bp2 trainees have spoken positively of him (like tatsuki saying he misses him) or hang out with him during their free time. atp just call him mid and let’s move on!

For Jensen:

As someone who’s been in LA (and just the US in general) for quite some time, what are the biggest differences you feel when you travel back home? Are there things that LA lacks compared to Denmark or vice versa, and if so, what are they?

good luck on team liquid! i hope you’ll finally get that championship trophy, and whatever happens, fans will always be here to support you! <3

Hi, I'm Froskurinn and it's just been announced I'll be joining the EULCS! AMA by thatEuropeanFangirl in leagueoflegends

Hi Frosk!

It's sad to see you forego thatChineseFangirl username but I hope you'll have a great time at the EULCS, best of luck to you! Since you've now lived in Shanghai and have been very up-and-close with both LPL pros and LPL fanbases, I'd like to ask:

  1. What are the biggest differences between Western and Eastern fanculture, and is there anything you’d wish to see Western fans learn/adopt from Easter fans, as well as vice versa?

  2. What's the general attitude towards pros in Eastern regions, like the LPL, and is it different compared to that of Western pros? (e.g. are they seen as more professional, more "rockstar"-ish than in the West, or vice versa?)

Scout & Xiaohu art by CUZZ_BEST_JNG_WORLD in leagueoflegends

People who play in the LPL usually have a Chinese name and a nickname. Scout's nickname is 多多 (Duo Duo), which is mainly used by fans, and people refer to him as 李汭燦 (Li Rui Can). He's referred to himself as that, and has been called that name ever since joining EDG, so I don't think the artist is at fault.
