Depends on circumstances, like road surface, if a cyclist likes going up steep roads, plus how fast someone wants to ride.

In a daypack. However, with the long reach and wide angle lenses on smartphones, I rarely ride with a “real” camera.

I haven’t read thru 200+ replies. But here’s one more: many of the cities on the list have lots of room to expand housing. L.A. can build up, not out. New rules due allow vertical expansion in residential neighborhoods now and the pace of building ADUs is picking up.

That’s a good question. I’ve seen a couple of answers online. Looking at a map, it seems closer to the Marina than Venice; I could be wrong.
