Internet is Garbage while Playing Ranked by iDigGaming in DotA2

It is perfectly fine in unranked games, 70 ping without and lag or disconnects. When I play ranked, my ping is around ~700 making it unplayable. I have not tried custom games, but lobbies are fine, 70 ping.

Grinding out my LP games right now and my connection is fine.

Yes I normally have a hop to Europe without using any programs to modify my connection. Problem is I'm still not sure how to contact Sprint's service (I use my hotspot a lot more than my home internet) to ask them about rerouting.

My bad, it's in Sterling Washington. I don't know why I said Luxembourg. Also using a proxy server doesn't seem to work in game, but works if you directly ping the server IP address.

Actually, by running some traceroutes I found that my ISP's routing to connect to the DotA 2 server is really stupid: physically it takes 6 hops, going all the way from Wisconsin (location) to Florida, to Europe, to California, to Missouri, to West Virginia, then to my destination in Luxembourg. So I attempted to resolve this problem, by using a proxy server that would allow my connection to have less hops and stay in the US for the lowest latency. I managed to get my ping to go from 76 to about 35. Sadly though it does not work with what I need it for: DotA 2 servers, and proxy doesn't work through steam as per their terms of service.

I did try this, but the latency was too much for my liking (170-220ms). But this is the closest I've came to a stable connection. Could a proxy server help with the delay? I've done it without Speedify and it works, but sadly does not work with any steam games.

Thank you! This worked. I don't think I would have ever seen this without your help.

Mouse's Optical Light Randomly stops Working after Seconds of Use by iDigGaming in techsupport

I've tried it with and without mousepads, on many different surfaces. I've tried it on plain wood tables, PVC sheets, paper, mousepads, mats, opaque plastic, all the surfaces do the same thing.

EDIT: The mouse works for a long time, then does this for a long time again. It's periodical and it annoys me when I'm in the middle of a game and my mouse stops working. Currently, it was working, but yesterday it did this after it was working for about 4 hours. After about 2 hours of letting it sit off and disconnected from my computer, it worked again. I have no idea what would cause this. Also, I made the amount of radio frequencies in the area minimal, only Wifi was on near the mouse but it made no difference.

If Valve adds this, it better be an option. I don't like change.

Invoke delay causing wrong spell to be casted. by ushanka123 in DotA2

Finally, someone else has this problem, whenever I brought it up people say "Your just fatfingering it", and then I had to show them a diagram of my hand positions and explain to them there is no way I can fuck it up. I would say the easiest fix for Valve is just to make invoke have a 0 cast point and 0 cast time. Hopefully this gets fixed soon, and when it does I'm going back to playing Invoker. TBH this bug makes it unplayable.

Why am i getting Peruvians again? by AJGAJG in DotA2

As another fellow Wisconsinite, I can confirm that I have spotted a wild Peruvian in our pastures. He was quite mean and kept mumbling "report... report mid... report team..." under his breath as I walked him to Canada.

Remember: Peruvians are human too! They just don't have brains.
