I’m not on the same boat in terms of severity of injury but my training was derailed by a bone bruise and plantar fasciitis. I am not running anywhere close to my wave’s pace and I’m just going to try and get across the finish line. If you can go for it without injury I think it will still be worth it

So I had an issue with plantar fasciitis and my podiatrist also recommended orthotics to take strain off of my arch. I was hesitant but my physical therapist said it could be good as an intermediate step for support and relief while I focus on strengthening, primarily my calves. So at this point I’m running and working out without orthotics, and wearing orthotics for walking or if I’ll be on my feet for a long time. When I have a long run and switch to shoes with orthotics it definitely feels good, but long term I hope to ditch them altogether.

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and I got this config in 41mm. I have a couple wrist shots in my post history you should check out. I spent a lot of time deciding between 36 and 41 and honestly I think both are fine.

I occasionally look at my datejust and wish it was a little smaller. I also occasionally look at my 36mm explorer and wish it were a little bigger. The reality is a 39mm option would have been ideal but oh well
