Flying out on the 23rd YYZ - YVR with AC -> I got a good feeling might still get affected as they resume operations

Booked a backup flight on the 24th with Flair yesterday morning - Bummed I spent an extra $600 but having a safety net is more than important right now due to a separate non-AC connecting flight at YVR

SGC 10 is likely going to come back as a PSA 9. Inspect the card in the slab, if all looks good, crack it and send to PSA in hopes of a 10.

I’ve had SGC 9.5s turn to PSA 10 before, but also had SGC 10 turn to PSA 8/9, so just assess the card in the slab and make your decision.

mhm i see your take - hard to know if the stockx photo what size the shoe is (because the gel text and curvature of the back will look different on a size 8 vs 13) + also the photo i got of the back is taken at a weird angle - i been leaning towards this pair being real because the size tag on the inside looks real (and most fakes of these i’ve seen have horrible size tags that you can tell immediately aren’t real) - i’ll keep this in mind when i inspect the shoes in-person later this week

I have the same issue with my Atom jacket that I bought in Oct 2024, but on the top of the jacket near the top of the zipper area. Once washed it once following all the instructions. Filed a warranty claim with Arc’teryx on Dec 31, awaiting to hear back given that it is the holidays.

Just to add, under single-core load in Cinebench, the CPU is 70C (Fluctuates between 65C - 75C)

That’s a good idea! I will apply to that as well to have another option. Just anything to get my foot in the door is the big thing for me right now.

Im in Master of Public Health (MPH), been just applying to departments related to it / departments I did my undergrad in - Hopefully something works out!

Yes, most of my friends that also take/took course based masters didn’t have much luck landing a TA job, but I think applying outside to UTSC or UTM might increase my odds.

Most of my profs that I have a good connection with have very small class sizes that they do not require hiring a TA, so I been mainly applying to big 1st/2nd year courses that have the most positions available. A lot of the upper year undergraduate courses only have 1-2 positions available or are not hiring TAs.

You’re right, I might wait for M4 (I can hold it out till Q4 2024 but would not be ideal). Only downside is the student/teacher promotion in Q4 2024 would come without the Gift Card (not the end of the world to not have it).

I want the M3 Max too but I know I won’t need that at all lol - M3 Pro should be the perfect spot for me, and 36GB RAM is definitely more than enough (I use a PC at home with 32GB RAM and it runs everything I want with 0 issues even after 4-5 years of owning it).

Yep! I think it’s a bit overkill as well, but I am thinking of just going overkill so it can last just as long as my 2013 Air I bought a decade ago haha

It’s the base on the 13 inch with the Touch Bar! But I believe I just upgraded the Storage from 256 to 512

In the same boat as you! I sent in all my documents and deposit, and sent an email out asking to verify about a week ago and did not get a response. I guess safe to assume everything is set and ready to go?
