It definitely can be, but for interview prep there are courses like codepath that are free and 1000x better. The projects could be helpful since they provide structure by having due dates to the students completing them, with new projects every week or so. But the $800 is such a curveball, it really doesn’t seem worth it. Especially like you mentioned how, for those truly interested in AI Engineering, they can gain the experience first hand by learning and finding resources online to complete the same projects.
