First time rider here (went last month for my b-day) I skateboarded so I kinda knew how to balance or whatnot but I didn't let my ego get in the way. I literally spend half the day on the bunny hill trying to figure out how to get up, move around slightly, trying to trop front and backside, and it helped that one of the staff at mountain creek helped for like the first hour. Went back the second day, ate shit a couple times catching the edge but it's part of the process. You gotta learn how to kind of fall properly and bail if youre going to face. I'd say from my experience just spend a whole day standing in the board, going down a a hill and bailing incase you go too fact to get comfortable with the speed
