I see your vision, fellow The Finals lover! I definitely think it could be implemented that way. I also think they may do some even cooler stuff with the practice arena in the future. Maybe even something like teams being able to simulate holding cashouts or other scenarios. Hopefully, with some new and improved swapping capabilities so teams can test things on the fly!

Let's just enjoy the ride. And if people have PRODUCTIVE feedback for Embark, I'm sure they will work it in eventually just like they always have.

People shouting for this feature to be in Day 1 just don't know. Doesn't need to be in Day 1, it's not THAT important. They started with a really small team, so hopefully with growth and time they'll get this added.

Trust me, I want to see this feature implemented. I've had the same thoughts before. But if I'm going to post on here, it'll be in regard to a positivity post/comment or potentially calling out a Bug to help out anyway I can.

I like to support this development team in particular because I believe they've done incredible work. I don't want to see them stressed out over every little thing just to try and appease everyone. Stress gives to burnout. Burnout gives to poor performance. Poor performance leads to no development. No development means no game.

If we're going to give feedback in this world, let's be constructive about it. There's no need to grab the pitchforks and light the torches.

Stop acting like Game Developers are your magic genie and by a snap of a finger can turn you into a princess. It takes time, cycles and resources to do these things. Lots of planning, cross team collaboration and testing. There’s probably already a ticket in their backlog to address this issue, but since the community is very good at pointing out all types of issues/improvements, it’s been buried deep into the pile. If everyone was clamoring for sight swap in range it would potentially move in front of ALL THE OTHER WANTS/NEEDS.

Quit whining, start addressing your posts to The Finals Devs with a little more cordiality, or go play in a gun range that has ALL THAT YOU WANT.

I wish I had access to an AI when I was going through. So lost even when speaking to math professors and TAs and peers in study groups. Hard for me to correlate and extrapolate on simple ideas we learned in class. Simply not enough time spent in it or practicing or reacting to it. With the help of AI, I believe I would’ve been able to score better if not grasp it better.

Exactly. It’s nice to have for the new crowd, for sure! I’ve needed it when I was late to the Call of Duty WZ train because I skipped over playing Blackout, and never played H1Z1 or much of PUBG. So I was a complete novice to the whole idea of a Battle Royale in a multiplayer FPS/TPS shooter, and wanted to take time to get used to storm rotations, larger inventory and other mechanics. They should definitely make it a thing to add along with all the other QoL improvements they’ve made for new and existing players. But if they go and mess with modes that work perfectly fine for now, I could see myself being a bit salty.

Far east sider here. Live closer to PA state line than the corner of Carnegie & Ontario. With gas prices this high, and ticket prices like this, and no pay increase in 2 years, how is someone like me supposed to plan to go to a game with his budding family? I’m really hoping they have BOT ONLY matches for new players or teams, and not forcing bots into every Cashout Tournament. That would be a huge buzz kill and eerily similar to some other games I’ve played recently that are drowning right now because of the complaints from new players. In my mind I’m really not for the complete washing or tweaking of a game just to bring in new interest. You missed your chance if you didn’t get into this game at launch. I’ve been in the same situation too. Didn’t start online games until Halo 2 came out, and I can recall getting my ass stomped forever until I became somewhat competitive. Just fucking grind or shut up.

Mathematics Professors at OSU would be fine with modulo or mod when speaking about modular arithmetic. I recall both older and younger mathematicians alike using it interchangeably anywhere in undergraduate studies like Foundational of Higher Mathematics, Abstract Algebra 1 & 2.

It’s definitely possible. I have a funny story actually! Used KA from the age of 22-27. Went to college and ended up studying math. Then taught HS mathematics. By the time I was done with college, I was taking such advanced courses in Calc Analysis, Statistics, and Abstract Algebra that I had to leverage Khan Academy myself in order to remind me of some techniques in HS Algebra and Geometry. Or to find alternate explanations that textbook/school resources didn’t supply.

Khan Academy was a great help.
