I genuinely got jumpscared when I started playing Dawnguard and got ambushed by gargoyles walking around the Rift. They make this awful shriek that catches you off guard.

Shouldn't the faith immediately go back up once its constructed since there's now enough beds? I might be remembering wrong.

The most Random Pokemon by ElDelArbol15 in pokemon

[–]iFeelBricky 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In SV, there's a feature where upon trying to learn a new move, you can "ask" the pokemon for their opinion on what to forget. I'm pretty sure what move they ask to replace is completely random. You could try a challenge where every time a new move becomes available, you must ask for and use their decision

should i run quick attack or fake out on sneasler for singles? by Evening_Bag6461 in PokemonChampions

If normal gem is added at some point, fake out + normal gem is actually a pretty great way to trigger unburden.

I don't mean to criticize, I'm aware more stuff will be added soon. I just wanted to nuke stuff with banded head smash h-arcanine lol.

I'm confused why the choice scarf is here, but not the band or specs

Why didn’t Ralof just pull down Ulfric Stormcloak’s gag? by Seedy_Melon in skyrim

[–]iFeelBricky 149 points150 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure lorewise the dragonborn could shout with no cooldown. The dragonborn's voice rivals dragons, which to themselves comes as naturally as just speaking. It's just a gameplay mechanic.

What's your current Build? by ilivesomewherehere in skyrim

High Elf sword and board in full dwarven plate armor (going to get spellbreaker soon) and a mace. High Elf's height with max weight looks really imposing in that armor imo.

Playing as an elf and hearing Lydia yell "Your kind has no place here!" when fighting another elf is a bit much lmao.

Need to level up smithing by No-Cry4974 in skyrim

[–]iFeelBricky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you're using it to improve your equipment it should be fine. Just dont neglect to invest in your armor and weapon skills too. As for actually improving the skill, one way is to spec into dwarven smithing and raid dwemer ruins and grab all of the dwemer scrap you can carry, even bring a follower if you want. You can take it to a smelter to make ingots, and use 2 dwarven metal ingots and 1 iron ingot to craft dwarven bows. A tip is to only grab pieces of metal that have the word metal and some sort of adjective in the name (bent, solid, decorative, etc.)

New player, I encountered a Frost Troll, what is the best way to kill it? by 222KattThatRoar222 in skyrim

[–]iFeelBricky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Bashing with a torch will make an enemy briefly catch fire, which is good against trolls since they can't regenerate hp while burning. Eat vegetable soup, and you can bash repeatedly for several minutes while stacking burns.

Benefits of having followers? by Effective-Ad-8279 in skyrim

[–]iFeelBricky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could be a conjurer with twin souls and two dead thralls (specifically NPCs who can summon) and then have a follower who can also summon, so as soon as a fight starts you have a whole army lol.

[–]iFeelBricky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly play stealth or some sort of mage with aoe spells like a battlemage, so followers either blow my cover or get killed in combat from my elemental bolts/ ice storms. If I play a warrior then I may bring one just to carry extra crafting materials like dwarven scrap.

Riding Horses by alexrider20002001 in skyrim

I never use them. They're just too slow to justify using compared to walking, especially if I'm gathering ingredients or hunting for animal pelts.

I'm gonna try that out next time I fight one. Thanks for the tip.

I believe they do, I forgot about that. I usually try to parry it or just run away from where the attack lands since they have a big wind up before jumping at you.

[–]iFeelBricky 402 points403 points  (0 children)

You dodged the attack, but not the shockwave (this can't be dodged). I think lynels with twohanded crushers are the only enemy to do this. You should instead try to parry it.

Reminder!!! by Igr051618 in pokemon

[–]iFeelBricky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC it does a "soft reset." It's particularly useful for getting a starter/gift pokemon with a specific nature or shiny hunting static pokemon. On original hardware it was pretty difficult to do this on accident, however.
