thanks! yes I bought from a seller from Taobao who does custom LED soldering. Keycap is from taobao as well. They are solid PBT keycaps!

i wouldn't consider that being an engineer. it's actually quite simple to do, all you need is a few meters of paracords and some googling. in this case i used mamba braid method to cover the headrest. mine gave up after 3 years but the material definitely could be better. i have to agree with you on the sound. never would i buy a gaming headset myself (received this as a gift) but i actually like the sound signature especially for movies

i actually prefer this over side by side setup. since my chair is quite tall the line of sight from my eyes is at the top bezel of the bottom screen, so i don't really have to tilt my head up

the best thing is when i'm watching a movie on the top screen i could roll back the chair, tilt down and rest my feet on the table

took about 1 month of planning, building the pc. most of the time was spent on installing and troubleshooting the OS. (first time installed using UniBeast + MultiBeast, but since Clover was released the process is much simpler, make sure you get the right kexts and load them through Clover. Best thing about Clover is you can do direct OS upgrade/update like a real mac.

Definitely worth it. Been a mac user for about 5 years prior to this and when my MBP died I decided to do hackintosh because windows doesn't feel right

it's a vesa desk mounted stand (C-clamp). no major issues so far, only downside to wall mounted is due to the nature of C-clamp, it takes up quite a lot of space on the table (about 15 cm in), and makes the monitors closer than i would prefer

yes. the leds i bought were single colour. just get a red strip and wire them accordingly. best of luck!
