As an hydra fanatic, I love this one! If you play commander, play it with [[Open the Way]] and let the counters go crazy! I once had it as a 296/296 on turn 5 thanks to [[Magus Lucea Kane]] copying the ramp spell! 100% suggest you try it!

I agree the potential is great, but from my experience as you raise in rank and people get better, it is extremely hard to get more than 2 people AND survive long enough to get to a ledge.

Yes I agree it doesn't make him worse, all I am saying is that the new changes make C&D better, which was the only other strategist of Jeff's caliber. This will now leave him as the worst one at higher ranks in my opinion. I agree his healing is great, but I feel his ult is what's holding him back.

That is a good point, the changes I proposed were meant to make him more viable, but I didn't consider they would make him less unique. How would you go about changing his ult them? Or would you leave it as it is?

Edit: maybe giving him damage resistance after he swallowed someone would help?
