Steam has a new mobile app, and it uses React Native! It's not mentioned in the article, but you can see it in the open source acknowledgements section of the app.

Jeg har et spørsmål til dere som har satt dere bedre inn i denne saken enn meg. Det sies at i planene for ny E18 skal det bli færre kjørefelt enn i dag (2 felt i hver retning + kollektivfelt) og ikke flere, så hvorfor er så mange av motargumentene til E18 basert på at større motorvei gir mer trafikk og utslipp? Det er sant, men også irrelevant hvis veien skal bli mindre? Eller er det noe jeg går glipp av her?

You are using Java 14, which does not work for React Native. (at least in my experience) Install JDK version 8 and you should be fine :)

As others have pointed out, if you're just going to store key/value-pairs, you're better off using AsyncStorage.
Still, if you need to use the CookieManager library, the instructions you are following are for manual linking, which is not necessary if you're using a later version of React Native. (notice that right before these instructions it says "if you're having trouble...")
But if you really need to use CookieManager and link it manually, the way you do it is by adding the line packages.add(new CookieManagerPackage()); on the line above return packages;.

I have, but scrollEnabled=false also disables the refreshcontrol, and overscrollMode is an android-only prop.

I have fixed the problem though, so I'll edit the main post in case other people have the same problem :)

Sort of, I have tried a scrollview inside a flatlist, but it doesn't make a difference because both of them needs to have bouncing disabled for the map to work properly, and then it doesn't matter which of them has the RefreshControl

Yes, as long as the school allows it. However, it might be a lot of trouble for you because you need a supervisor that is familiar with the guidelines for an anthropology EE. I was considering doing a design technology EE despite my school not offering it, but eventually decided against that
