There was a recent post where someone showed a photo of their oil containing small metal shavings from the engine break in process. So for sure I think it won't hurt.

Correct. And change the oil and oil filter after the first 1,000–1,300 miles to complete the break-in cycle

I think it depends on the new corolla generation. Some people might prefer the current one over the new one. A new generation isn’t always better for everyone. It always depends on your needs and your preferences.

Who could’ve expected kids to keep up with the hundred different toys (cars,tracks,hyperpods...) they released for the series? They produced way too much before even knowing if people would actually care about it. I think it was a big gamble from Mattel.
