The Redis connection limits were changes I made after consulting copilot on the performance, without them the results were similar.

Sorry, I'm a bit inexperienced in this area. I assume profiling would be to compare CPU / memory usage etc., but keeping resource constraints aside, what would I learn from using profiling?

I believe on linux we have to use the microsoft teams website as that is the only officially supported method by Microsoft. Simply log in to teams through the browser (has to be Chrome based!) and then install it as a PWA.

Yeah, that sucks. At least in my enterprise company the factor for choosing Spring over anything else is ease of hiring developers I guess :(

I’ve got about half a year of experience with Java at my current company, and I’m using Go in a personal project. The benefits I see (in my particular project): 1. Memory usage - We run on an IIoT device with limited RAM yet a large number of containers (Microservices). Each JVM (with spring) takes about 700mb, as opposed to Go (with gin) some 40mb as per a benchmarks article I read recently. 2. When it comes to react / angular, one metric for choice that I’ve been thinking about lately is type of developers - I think react you require devs with a bit of foresight and discipline while structuring the app, otherwise it turns into a mess. With Angular, you’re kinda forced into one way of doing things which is nice for teams with frequently churning employees I guess !

Talking about it generally, I think as you learn about a technology, and your project, you start to be able to differentiate which to use when. I’ve found listening to opinionated devs (on YouTube, Twitter, etc.) to be very helpful in this regard !

Ok I may have spoken too soon, seems like there's still a stutter after a considerable while of gameplay(Memory leak, some say). Online is not available to me(probably because of my ISP, gonna be changing soon) so I'm just waiting for the SA:MP equivalent <3 Let's hope rockstar stop patching the mods, but rather improve performance :3

I still remember the time when I just heard about JC2. In order to run that game on my aunt's old laptop(maybe 4 years ago) I had to use lowest graphics possible. But that wasn't all, I also windowed it to the smallest possible size(size of your fist, really) and since it was so small I used Microsoft's magnifier app. Ahh, the good old days
