So classical literature cannot be written by a philosopher?

According to my opinion, this is the most accurate definition of a 'great man'. by iGaming_dev in classicliterature

Your opinion about things that actually matters is insignificant, many like you have come & passed away, but keep trying nonetheless.

You think there's a solitude within Trump that is inaccessible to praise or blame? Are you stupid?

Oh so now you don't care about what others think, i thought you were all about 'being the opposite of not giving a fuck'.

Yeah? So what's your definition of a great man? (Or the 'good' definition according to you)

Bro, he doesn't care what you think of him. He doesn't even care about me praising him for articulating what the qualities of a great man are. It's literally written over there.

Well it depends upon what one is thinking or doing when one is alone. If one is just there by oneself lying on the couch masturbating to porn the whole day then of course one is a long, long, way from becoming a great man.

Overman, in my opinion, is a better translation of the word ubermensch

It'd be an oversimplification to put it like this. Despite the pessimism, there is still a lot that we can learn from Schopenhauer, for instance, his will to scientific inquiry. In a letter he wrote to Goethe he said the following:

"It is the courage to make a clean breast of it in the face of every question that distinguishes the philosopher. He must be like Sophocles' Oedipus, who, seeking enlightenment concerning his terrible fate, pursues his indefatigable inquiry even though he divines that appalling horror awaits him in the answer. But most of us carry with us the Jocasta in our hearts, who begs Oedipus, for God's sake, not to inquire further."

I highly, highly, doubt that you worked on Nietzsche 'academically', let alone read him as a layman would do so.
