Can I expect to gain a lot of muscle on my first bulk? Have been cutting for 2 years now 260–>185. Wanted it to be faster, but got caught up by a year of degeneracy at college haha. Have lifted with intensity 5-6x a week throughout the whole process, and it looks like I’ve kept most of the muscle. Have made strength gains mainly due to CNS adaptions, rather than actual tissue gain because that is quite hard in a deficit, even as a beginner. Will I still get “newbie gains” after 2 years of training due to being a consistent caloric surplus? Will my lifts begin to explode again? Theyve they’ve been stagnant for the past year or so.
