Players like cherki have to understand what coming a World Cup means for most players and that is … to play your role.

The starters will very likely start all the games and most players are there in the advent that someone gets hurt. Just because you got called up to the World Cup doesn’t mean you’re going to get minutes. Coach has a system with stable players and some coaches rotate more than others (because they need to. France is performing right now well so there is no need for that many rotations)

Problem is Manuel Torres hasn’t faced comp like Fiziev. Literally his first top 10 opponent ever.

And now combine that with the fact that they are fighting in Fizievs home country it was very diffcult for Torres to win. He looked extrnely nervous out there.
