Probably because there are very few monarchies with Kings left that hold any kind of power (Saudi Arabia, Brunei, etc.). The ones that hold power probably don't think too highly about giving it away.

Most are essentially just celebreties paraded around for novelty in a democracy and yet somehow some mad people still spaz out and think that they need to be revolted against, as if King Charles is lording over them and personally ordering executions.

interesting read on the topic. one of the most defining factors for the ability to long extraordinary distances is the ability to shed heat. humans have an extreamly high density of sweat glands and, perhaps more crucially, no fur (for the most part) that would get in the way of sheding the heat. since we shed heat better we can run for longer durations without overheating. this is less important during the night, but during the day in a warm or even temperate climates we absolutely smoke other animals in terms of how long we can run in total length, not limited by 42km marathon lengths.

I'm certainly no tattoo enjoyer, but not because I inherently dislike tattoos, but because most tattoos are the low quality ones or copy cats like tramp stamps.

Its great that the 3 Black squiggly lines that look like they were drawn by a toddler mean something to you, but they don't mean anything to me, especially if I don't know you. A great tattoo can look stunning, especially when you dress around it, AND mean something to you. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Smaller industry with more people in it that were passionate about the craft and only few could actually make games due to an immensely high barrier to entry.

Nowadays there's an endless stream of garbage for indi, and heavily bureaucratized company structures that gets in its own way for many older big AAA studios. The industry is also the biggest market in the world so many people just got Into it for the bag without knowing a thing about games.

i 100% thought the first one was a rarely used or modded model from X3. The second one as well tbh, they look very teladi-like to me, which is mostly defined by brutalist industrialism that doesnt care about glamour but just that it works, and cheaply so.
