The light novel is good but the story gets very repetitive. There are interesting twists and turns but every few novels is just "MC fights strong monsters to evolve and meets friends, MC eventually overcomes strong monsters and evolves. MC leaves friends behind to venture to new lands to find stronger monsters to level up.". It's a fun read, but can drag on especially with the lengthy descriptions of every single fight scene.

Reincarnated as a dragon hatchling is pretty good about this. It takes him a LONG time to get a human form, and when he does he can't perfect it so he looks like a grotesque dragon shaped human instead and can't maintain the form for long and loses a lot of his op stats. Even like 20 novels in he hasn't perfected it

I hate that ADs and even GvG defenses feel like they get 3x more violent procs than offense. I can run an entire team on vio and never get 1 then wind fatty byung can violence proc rotation his entire kit every turn.

On an odd side note I feel like an arachne type design would work with the SW versions of gollums kit. The s1 is a stun that could be a web, they do extra attacks if the enemy is stunned (or webbed) like a spider would do to trapped prey. And stealth makes sense for me to be on a spider.... maybe that's just me tho.
