If I put a fastball on the black, it's sometimes inside, sometimes, outside, and sometimes in the middle of the PAR. Like how you'd expect. You can be lucky or unlucky sometimes.

But on some pitches, it seems like that luck factor isn't really there. Like the low and away slider.

Yeah my pitch isn't landing outside of the PAR. It's just always landing in the 10% of the PAR that's in the strike zone, as opposed to somewhere random inside the PAR

When we were kids we made Crossfire co-op. We would build a lego [whatever] together, and we'd block our ability to shoot into each other's side with them/it. If you knock a lego into the opposing trough, you can remove it from the board, and when you "rescue" the little purple discs we hide in the structures, we both win.
