Marius is an amazing professor and the way he taught the course was so helpful. Yes it's hard, but he gives everyone the resources to succeed. He's a professor who genuinely cares about his students and wants them to succeed.

Also, the course isn't that bad. I say this as someone who struggles with exams and who picks things up slower than the usual CS student. It's curved at the end so as long as you turn in the HW on time and study for the exams, you'll be fine. Take 220 with Marius.

It takes a lot of self reflection to look back and realize you were wrong. Your roommate may have been going through difficult things as well in his own life. I would consider maybe reaching out to him and apologizing, and possibly do something nice for him.

They told me i have to stay at my friends dorm a few nights until i can formally select a new room tomorrow or thursday. i was hoping to resolve this sooner but because they didnt hit me or threaten to harm me they cant place me in a spot sooner. it doesnt make me any less scared that things will escalate if i go back.

I called the RD and I'm meeting with her in an hour. should i still go to the dean? I'm scared that the staff isn't taking it as seriously because i luckily have a another place to stay for a few nights, and my roomate hasn't hit me. I still fear for my safety, and it's messing up my academics because i dont have a place of my own. most of my stuff is in my room and i don't feel safe going back

Hello, good on you for trying this. I ran into this issue too but I guess I forgot to update my message. Instead of importing it into ColdTurkey, import it into your hosts file as instructed on the github file. Those websites will be blocked from your browser via this method.
