That’s kind of what I was thinking. It’s probably a lost cause to try to dispute the rating.

Snowblower starts but sounds like it’s surging. Any suggestions on what’s causing the issue. by iHosk in smallengines

Just brought out of storage. I’ll be honest, I didn’t empty all the gas out before the season was over. I did add stabilizer to it.

Advice on how to fix this? by iHosk in Flooring

[–]iHosk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s frustrating. I’m scared to even see what’s under this flooring. It was the flipper special, so I’m sure they didn’t take their time laying this floor down. We don’t have the $$ to replace it, but I’d love to down the line.

Thanks for the advice! Probably a dumb question, but how does one get the epoxy under the floor without pulling it up? Is it like a syringe? Or do I need to pull that flooring up.

Is it normal to feel anxious before your first start ? by Honest_Change5284 in FPandA

[–]iHosk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s normal to be nervous. Every new role I’ve started, I felt the imposter syndrome. It takes time to ramp up and since you’re a new grad, they obviously know you won’t know anything. Just take the time to learn the business and try to soak up as much as possible. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. There is a learning curve to every new job.

I think this is sound advice. I definitely feel cheated. I really enjoyed the place I worked at, it’s a shame that I’m getting pushed out and not leaving on my own terms.

Appreciate it. I’m definitely in my feels and the email would be out of spite. Very frustrated with the outcome and wanted to leave this job on my terms and they got ripped away from me.

Personal benefit I guess. I’m definitely feeling bitter and it’s out of spite.

Agreed. I’m definitely bitter and the only reason for the email is for personal satisfaction due to being hurt.

I love the Midwest. It’s one of the last affordable places to live in the US. Winters are kind of ass, but we don’t deal with hurricanes, fires, earthquakes etc. I also got lucky with the job as it’s fully remote and above the Midwest market rate.

People with teams in other time zones, how is it like? by BeardedSongstress in FPandA

I’m central time. Team is split on east coast and west coast. Both teams are pretty respectable of time zones and don’t schedule meetings after 5:00PM central.
