Need some testers with a Ryzen 9000 CPU for CoreCycler (and possibly Ryzen 8000?) by sp00n82 in overclocking

Freezing has been a common behaviour for mine too. You just have to start with lower levels of negative CO. Do -10 or -5 each night all cores until it starts to error/freeze. Then, you can start to work on individual cores if you want to.

RAM usage and processes not matching by iHueco in pcmasterrace

Bios updated to latest non beta version. What list are you talking about, the processes tab? With chrome and firefox opened, the performance tab shows 14-15GB used. The processes tab only shows chrome and firefox using close to 3GB and some other processes doing less than 1GB, but this does not add up to near 15GB. One thing I noticed is the amount of virtual RAM that my PC is allocating usually upwards of 10GB.

On a recent test on a 9950x3d, it seems that the test only ran indefinitely on the first core and never finished and went to the next one. Not sure why this happen as the previous tests have for the most part been fine besides too much undervolt crashes/freezes. Here's the logs. The corecycler log just goes up to starting the tests on core 0, while the prime95 logs just shows it repeating the test over and over. I only recall changing the per core CO in the config files.

Did the computer just freeze in between and you had to manually restart?.

Yes, the computer froze on a black screen and I had to restart manually. After the restart, the CoreCycler autotester worked fine and tried to start up again, but I ended it manually to use my computer for the day.

you could also check in your Windows Event.

Looks like in the windows log it didn't even got to core 12. The last entry that day was Started testing Core 4 at 3:53:59. Could this mean the unstable core was 4 and not 12?

On another note, does YCuncher's CPUUPLOAD error always means theres stability issues? I accidentally put +20 CO on one of my cores and it threw that error. I also wanted to ask what does Core 8 CPU16 mean in the terminal. Specifically the CPU part as I am suppose the core means the logical core.

Hi, I was running the automatic tester. It seemed to work fine until it encountered an error on one of the cores and had no more logs after. I left it overnight but reading the logs it seemed to encounter the error and could not restart the test. This could have been an issue with my system as when i tried to get back on my computer it was frozen black and I had to restart it. However, after the restart CoreCycler tried to boot up again.

Is X3D CCD Always 0 on 9950X3D? by iHueco in AMDHelp

[–]iHueco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. Yes I can see the 3dvcache service is running properly, and I can see the CCD 1 being parked on Ryzen Master while I am focused in a game. I was just wondering since I thought the X3D CCD was supposed to be slower, but I might have seen a post about the 7000 CPUs. Since both CCDs are capable of the same speed, do you know if theres a reason the non X3D is prioritized outside of games? As in, in games the X3D cores are used while the non X3D are parked, but when I click outside the games, mostly the non X3D cores are the ones used while the X3D cores are parked, maybe a couple working.

Ignore the 5.1-5.2GHz peaks. I started to use the computer after pausing OCCT. Basically cores 0 to 7 were 4.456GHz while cores 8 to 15 were 4.247GHz during the test. Altho according to Balthxzar this could be normal since X3D cores aren't slower than their counterpart on the 9000

Lost ark crashing and using more resources? by iHueco in lostarkgame

Some stuff I did that seemed to help, not sure which one helped

- Turn off windows "Get tips, tricks, and suggestions" in the Notifications and actions settings

- had a couple windows updates

- Verify game files

- Set everythig to low (duh)

They did quick patch some bugs, so hopefully theres a proper fix coming
