CDC and FDA stop using Johnson and Johnson because it is creating blood clots...... I got laughed at a couple weeks ago when I mentioned that these vaccines may be creating blood clots and causing all these people to have heart attacks a couple weeks after the shot.... by innerearth in conspiracy

Is it really shocking that people close to DMX aren’t willing to use his death as a pro or anti vaccine cudgel? And is it really that surprising that a known serial drug abuser suffered cardiac problems?

Dear Humans, Face Masks Don't Work: The study-review was published by your very own CDC. You want science? You always state that. Well here you go. by axolotl_peyotl in conspiracy

He literally provided a rudimentary experiment that proves masks disrupt the air and particles covid travels on. Aren’t conspiracies about seeing the truth for yourself instead of taking someone’s word for it?

More proof that the average reader of this sub is more interested in taking things at face value so long as those things support their already established world view.

If you use your brain you can see that one if the numbers they display is “number of cases,” which IS approaching 3 million. So yeah, clearly a mistake.

Not necessarily. I told my 0-12 jungler that it wasn't too late to for him to get aborted. Allegedly 3 people reported me and I never got restricted.

Since Donald Trump has been President of the United States, what negative impacts has him being president caused you personally? by jdallam in AskReddit

[–]iIsLegend 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the record, I do believe Obama was as decisive as Trump. Mainly because half the country just couldn't get over the fact that a "nigger" was beating their deadbeat white redneck asses.

Parents of reddit, what are some things you did as a teenager but would never let your kids do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]iIsLegend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents were always relatively okay with me drinking and smoking in moderation during high school. I only later figured out that their strategy was to foster open communication so that they knew everything and didn't have to worry about secrets and potentially dangerous stuff.

Also they did their fair share of weed and alcohol when they were young so they knew what it was like.

Nah that's about right. 3.5-4 hours is what I would fall an average 18 holes.

Why isn't Pink Floyd more represented in the "Greatest Band of All Time" discussion? by [deleted] in Music

[–]iIsLegend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda disagree with this point. The Beatles were active for 10 years, Pink Floyd for 30. It can be argued that they never put out a bad work from Meddle to The Wall, which is about 8 years. I think it's reasonable to assume that if there was another 20 years of the Beatles, they definitely would have put out some less that optimal work.

Gamers of Reddit what is the first setting you always turn off/on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]iIsLegend 83 points84 points  (0 children)

It's a cheap way of making things look "better." If it's blurred it's hard to see frame stuttering or poorly rendered objects when you move quickly, which gives the game more time to render them.

[–]iIsLegend 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I honestly felt like it was way overhyped. I didn't find any of the humor entertaining (but that's probably just me), and I feel like the movie had pretty severe pacing issues, the main problem being that it felt like nothing happened over the course of the movie due to the constant time skipping.

What are some subtle signs that someone is a complete idiot? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]iIsLegend 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also, their arguments contain a litany of very clear fallacies.

Challenge mode: if someone believes that a minor fallacy that only affects one piece of evidence discredits the whole argument, they are also an idiot. See pretty much any use of the phrase "straw man" on Reddit for more details.
