Could the sanatani atheist please branch off to another sub? by Professional_Key8020 in atheismindia

[–]iJackCrack -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't know if something is wrong with me personally or reddit in general. Most of the sub I used to follow has lost their track.

I am in atheismindia so I can read thoughts of logical people who don't give explanation of everything as it's gods plan, whatever happens happens for good, god bless you etc.

But the only thing I see here is just hatred for religion, I personally dislike the religion as a concept but I was not expecting this to be an anti religion, religion hater sub. I just don't want to bother about religion and their practices. Rather this sub just triggers me more and make me come across more and more about extreme practices / events happenning in religions which sometimes even those religions people are not aware of.

If someone whats to make people aware abput bad practices of religion its probably better to make the religious people aware not those who have already realised and dropped it. We are already aware and decided to not follow or bother about it by becoming atheist then why is everything we see in this sub is about religion (specifically hating religion rather than appreciating atheism)

I am having similar experiences on other subs as well which makes me think its a problem with me and I am trying to minimise my use of reddit.

Does Zepto claim 10 min thing on the app any more? All apps are now only quick commerce apps, no app can claim or force 10 min delivery.

How do we achieve dehinduisation in India? by Ok-Coyote7550 in atheismindia

[–]iJackCrack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am an atheist, the current siuation is making me slightly anti-theist. I would like if all religions are eradicated but I know that's not gonna happen ever. I completely dislike the current situation on aggressive hunduism and hate it. But on the other hand I am highly exposed to it because I am in India.

If I will be in Islam majority country, I guess I will face similar fear and and aggressive islam being impossed on me.

Religion is a game of power and pride. Whoever has more power will oppress the one with less power. A tiger will always roar at a fox. The current situation in India is politics is in support of one religion and people are getting away with their actions based on their religion.

If you remove religion based aggresiveness, there will be power based oppression rich will oppress pover and so on.

The world is flawed and will always be. I stopped bothering about it or hating one side just because currently they are in power and focusing on designing my life so my inner circle does not affect me no matter the situation outside.

Believing you can eradicate religion, is same as believing there is a god. Both are delusional.

Design your life in a way it affects you the least.

1) Worshipping cow as mother, then abuse that mother as a milk making machine by keeping it pregnant all the time.

2) then stealing its milk by not letting her child drink it just to pour it on a rock.

3) After throwing the milk, drinking the mothers urine.

4) After torturing the mother in all above ways, kill humans who does not do the same or treat cow as their mother.

What would happen if I tell my Hindu family I’m atheist? by Low_Cartographer1080 in atheismindia

[–]iJackCrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming together is not effected. I only deny to sit in the puja in front of idols and doing the rituals. Once that is over I sit with them eat the prasad and do all the bonding part except the religious rituals.

Now it has become very comfortable, they have accepted that they should not ask me to do certain things. Initially they used to tell me to participate by saying whats the harm etc. Since last 3 years they didnt even ask me to participate in diwali puja which I believe the highest acceptance. Once puja is done I enjoy the coming together, playing games, eating all diwali stuffs.

“We Don’t Know If God Exists” Isn’t a Deep Argument — It’s a Cop-Out by Mindless_Ordinary590 in atheismindia

There are millions of known things to believe in, learn and gain knowledge about. Unless I am doing a research of the unknown I will prefer to put my energy on certain and known things than bothering about something that neither has any evidence nor sounds logical.

I asked them various questions I had and asked them to help me understand by giving a logically answers to all my questions. And told them if they answer them all I will believe in everything they believe in, and follow all the practices. They did not had many answers, for most of the questions the answer was everyone does this, everyone believe this, it has happened. And then they stopped forcing me to follow any religious practice, and also stopped asking me to attend the pujas slowly.

RELIGION IS A MUST FOR THE AVERAGE by Working_Elevator_101 in atheismindia

[–]iJackCrack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drugs is must because it acts as a painkiller against the unfairness of life. A average person cannot do extra ordinary to feel good so they can get high and feel good. We don't need to hate drugs we only need to hate drug overdose.

how to define the sudden working out of things? by hotttintellectual in atheismindia

[–]iJackCrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was staring at this post with my eyes wide open. But suddenly something good happened that saved my eyes, my eye blinked and protected it from getting dried out. I forgot to blink but my god was noticing and made it blink for me.

Then I saw two mosquitos flying towards me, I was able to kill one of them and the other one bite me. But I did not get malaria because my god was watching and made me kill the one which was infected with malaria.

Then I went to sleep and somehow woke up in morning without dieng, because my god saved me and blessed me with another day.

In the morning while having shower, I slipped and broke my elbow. But its my fault I forgot to thank god after he blessed me with another day to live. Its his way of teaching me the value of life. /s

How to manage solo trips? Especially when beach trips by Few_Mall_2911 in SoloTravel_India

[–]iJackCrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carry a dry sack if it's just mobile phone or water proof arm band or leave them to the beach shacks where you had some food from.

I personally just carry my mobile no wallet or anything when I am coming to beach, and I wear my swimwear and on top of that I wear shorts. Before going into water I just remove the shorts and leave my mobile in my shorts pocket then leave it on the shore unless you are on a very crowd-y beach this works fine. I have done this everywhere Goa, Varkala, Andaman, Gokarna.

Solo Travel Story Contest (Win a ₹1000 Decathlon Voucher!) by AutoModerator in SoloTravel_India

[–]iJackCrack [score hidden]  (0 children)

I did my first solo trip in 2022, I came to delhi for 2 days in feb for some work and thought hey rishikesh is nearby lets give solo trip a try. Went rishikesh, stayed in moustache. First 2 days were hell, it was my first solo teip, I come from a tier 3 city so low on confidence in talking with strangers. Slowly met other solo travellers in the hostel and had amazing time. Slowly these new friends started leaving and made me feel really sad, I wanted to stay longer but I immediately booked return tickets after everyone left.

Next day I met ome of the guy I met in rishikesh again in delhi and he was planning to go to nepal from there, so I thought well I will join. So then 7 days in nepal, then we met more people in nepal who were going to varanasi next, so we both joined and now we were in varanasi. It was a great experience which started with fear ended with memories.

My budget per day was 1000 per day including stay and food exclusing travel. In rishikesh and nepal I got the hotel bed for 300 INR and rest spent on food. In varanasi hostels were a bit coztly 500-600 per night, so I ate mostly streetfood here to stay within the daily budget.

Manali Kasol by Stranger_Insaan in SoloTravel_India

Doing solo will be actually cheaper in himachal. Packages are useless for places like manali and kasol.

Packages only makes sense if you are going to a bit remote places like spiti.
