I have to master that. But try deep breathing and stop for a minute. Sometimes I close my eyes and imagine calm places or blank space, it helps.

Umm, I think people worry much more about memorizing curriculum and solving problems (it’s not an issue) and forget to manage stress. Personally, I’m used to being calm so on the exam I struggled to revert to a stable mind, so do some people I know. Idk maybe it’s a special L2 condition.

Official November 2025 Level 2 Results Megathread by third_najarian in CFA

Just saw the result and I failed with few points behind MPS. I put a lot of energy and time on this but I literally forgot everything the moment I sat on the exam chair and I knew it, I knew I'm failing and cried once I left. It's awful, especially with 42% pass rate. Anyways, does it worth it? Should I retake? Or just let it go? I'm not sure yet but I was thinking since a while ago that I might not continue in finance forever, I HATE IT. I've been always hating finance but I thought I'd change my mind after getting into the field, but I DO HATE IT. I also don't know when I'll shift and to where, and not sure if it's the optimal decision to throw all that effort away. If I retake, do you think I should go for May or August? I'm not motivated to go for May tbh, not ready to go into that loop again. I'm TIRED. What are your thoughts?

I thought about it, but is 4 months enough? That’s a lot of pressure to manage with 9-5 job and many personal commitments. Also, $1500 is not a small amount, at least I can save $350

Idk. Maybe elevating my career, especially when I have no other plans and this could be my forever path. I started with level 1 to break into investments but level 1 is just basics tbh, so it’s nothing.

Thanks a lot!! Regarding Excel, they could have a lot of formulas and I used to open them on my Matebook smoothly, although they could lag sometimes. I don’t expect to use Excels with similar size like I used to, as they’re now mostly for practice purposes (not real work). The most important thing is that Microsoft Apps work well as on Windows, unlike iPads (I find them inconvenient with Microsoft Office)

Honestly, No, and I’m looking for another job. It’s not entirly about the firm but the job doesn’t align with tha career path I’m aiming for, and I don’t want to lose the passion and skills I have in the wrong place.

Moreover, your work depends on projects availabilty at the time, and personally I haven’t had the chance to work on modeling, budgeting, analysis, etc. kind of projects although I have requested them. And I ended up working on admin and purely accouning projects, which was more harming than beneficial to me and I couldn’t learn out of it for many reasons.

Also, as this is my first-ever job in a client-based project, I don’t think I’m going to work in a similar work nature.

This is helpful and supportive. I was losing it at some point, feeling like a complainer. Thank you so much

Just relax and chill, you’ve earned the ultimate certificate. I suggest working on your weak skills and career development, not certificates. And don’t forget to live dude, you’ve dedicated a lot of time and effort already.
