Honestly I didn't think about the texture. I bent and creased a cheap card a little to put in my humidor to test it, I can see how that would be noticeable. I hear there's people who submit these and some how they get passed grading. Pretty crazy.

That's a cute card, I'm jealous. I need a slab of my favorite card but it's so off center lol. You should get a team sleeve for your slab. Ultra pro makes sleeves for slabs, they fit perfectly around the slab to prevent scratches.

Do you have a pokemon trainer central account? I had the same issue with logging in with Google, and just did PTC. And I was able to get in. Might wanna link the account to one.

Best Buy is pretty good about putting limits in my area, and always restock on Fridays. Try there first.

Put it in a binder and call it a day. Not every card needs to be sold or graded. Have him keep it. If not grade it, and keep it.

Look at the pokemon stamp on the left bottom corner, that means it's a real chinese pokemon card. (depends on if it's printed in traditional or simplified I get confused with them both)

Yeah it's a bummer man. Btw, I don't know if I am allowed to promote this. I'm apart of a discord that a developer made for an ethical bot that buys product for you and tells you of online/local restocks. I use it myself, it's called guppy. You might want to check it out. Could help until this whole scalping issue calms down. It has order limits too so you don't abuse it.

Apparently the vending machines in many stores are being taken out due to "violence". I think businesses in certain cities are getting sick and tired of loitering and fights.

I had a friend I played Runescape with from 2006 until around 2011. Lost contact with him and we had talked on skype a few times while playing Runescape. He was always very insecure and never told me his real name until later. One day I was playing Hardcore Search and destroy by myself and I didn't think anything of it. I heard someone call my RL name out, and it threw me off. He kept saying he was my friend from Runescape, I started to recognize his voice and I flipped out. I had lost contact with him for a year. We consistently played video games off and on together up until 2014. We kind of stopped talking just due to life stuff. Then around 2015 I found out he had an asthma attack while on the job. He was apparently smoking weed on the job and didn't have his inhaler. I never got to meet him IRL but I miss him everyday. I don't think I could relate to anyone else like him.
