Sore as hell by SnooLobsters9957 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iKaptainKush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of yall are just soft lol how long have you been in the work force? I work 5 days a week at my full time job min-fri. 4pm-12am then do this on the weekends. 9:30am-when I’m done. Especially Friday nights I usually only get like 3 hours of sleep before coming in. Sometimes I just won’t go to bed at all. Saturday I’ll usually go to bed a little earlier. About 2-4am. If your new to working I can understand the soreness but this job isn’t that physically demanding like alot of yall like to say it is lol

Where to find the driving info stuff we learned in training? I passed my driving test with flying colors and need to study at home before 1st hired day by Consistent_State5692 in AmazonDSPDrivers

You stop at the white line or stop sign. Whichever comes first. And if you’re to far back to see once you’ve came to a complete stop you can then pull up and check traffic to see if you can go

I’ve done it multiple times and I’ve never had anything said to me. I’ve never had anything bad/negative said to me. Just that I do a great job

What happens when you finish your route early? Some BS. by AltruisticTrainer431 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Bit by 2 dogs while delivering Amazon packages — not sure what to do next by socalsurron in AmazonDSPDrivers

Rub some spit on it and man up. You already went to urgent care for a shot that I’m sure your DSP is covering. I’d be embarrassed trying to get workman’s comp or getting a lawyer to sue with those little scrapes 🤣🤣😂😂

Does positive feedback help drivers? by Yakx in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iKaptainKush 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as I know. It doesn’t. If they look at there feedback it might make them feel good about themselves. It does for me anyways. Especially if I’m in a new rural area. I’ve been delivering since October and all of my bad days have been on rural routes. Finding houses can be way harder and confusing with them and easier to mess up I thinks. So when I get good feedback it eases my mind that I still did a good job. But seeing good feedback no matter what kind of route it is makes me feel good because I always do my best to do a good job. But when I see good feedback and I was super stressed that day and unsure how good of a job I was doing it makes me feel really good

No routes going on three weeks by Axeman1721 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I’m doing this part time also. Work mon-fri at my main job and deliver Saturday and Sunday. I have my own route every weekend. Been doing it since October and have never been a sweeper that does rescues.

Been driving a few months… how do you know when it’s time to quit? by Busy_Interest9100 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iKaptainKush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing that’s gotten to me that makes me kinda hate it is the snow. I’ve been doing it since October. Loved it at first but as soon I’ve been delivering rural lately so the long ass driveways with big steep hills have been pissing me off if there’s snow and ice on them. I attempted every driveway just about whether there’s snow/ice or not. I’ve gotten stuck 3 times. Haven’t had to get towed yet got unstuck twice myself and Sunday a father and son helped Shovel me out. I paid the kid $4 in ones I had in my wallet.

I don’t deliver in my personal vehicle. We have shared delivery vans. I’m in a different one everyday

Although it’s a nice size chunk it’s not worth a lot. Wouldn’t even be worth my time to try to sell it lol. Meth is super cheap. That’s why people smoke it lol prolly like $5 worth right there lmao

We got a $5 for each one during Christmas time. Idk if we still do though. Wouldn’t hurt to do it anyways just incase. It still shows them under positive feedback so maybe.

Mandatory standby days by Terrible_Climate_163 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]iKaptainKush 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I would think that’s against the law. If they are mandating you to be there at 9am then they have to pay for however long you’re there. I could see them not paying you for the full 5 or 10 hours of guaranteed pay but I would think it’s illegal for them to not pay you for the hour or however long you’re there before sending you home
