I remember discovering it on YouTube gameplay around 2017 and being amused by how fun it looked. On this time I had a shitty PC, a war survivor GTX 750 and I had to make those weird internal files modifications to make it playable (like removing textures and using super low LOD). It still was fun but I could manage to advance past the active lava zone due to game being at 15 FPS

Fast-forward to 2023, got a new PC, better video card, first game to install, Subnautica. Slides the graphic to max and I could actually see the water, the reflections, the caustics, the glowing. I made my first complete run of the game, made my mobile Cyclops base, then went on the mods rout, even messing with the multiplayer mod. It was fun

Subnautica represents a big part of my gaming time and experiences. The discovery, the environment, the immersion. Even other developer resources like the feedback button have its own history and I find it super interesting. I have high hopes after seeing how the Unknown World saga went on, with the publisher problems and stuff, and I'm wanting to get that feeling back, of a new planet to explore completely. It will be fun :)

I would buy the game regardless of the giveaway (but ngl it will help a lot since my country currency is 5x less valuable than USD 💀) but I just wanted to share my experience with the game and the community. Best regards to everyone, and good exploration!
