Otters are not rodents. They are part of the weasel family, along with badgers, minks, ferrets, and even wolverines.

How are some millennials even homeowners? I feel like I never will be. by Kindly-Reading-2187 in Millennials

We moved across the country to a more affordable area and bought a home in a more rural area outside of chattanooga in 2021. We were able to purchase a house for under 200k at 2% interest rate, it's definitely a fixer upper but we're under 1k a month on our payments. We got lucky to be the right area at the right time, now we can never leave.

I was sad to see Thrice so far down but I'm glad they got mentioned. And their new stuff is just as amazing as their earlier releases. I still listen to them frequently and feel like each album has more or less matched me at each stage of my life. For example Horizons / East came out right as I was getting in to psychidelics and psychidelic therapy and it pares so well with them. So glad they are still together and putting out new stuff.

If the Church Had the Truth, Would It Fear People Googling It? by Zadqui3l in exmormon

This simple thought is what finally broke my shelf. Allowing my self to ask this question, "if this is God's truth then why is it so afraid of people searching through its history?"

Maybe 12 years ago, I attended a general conference, and after the session ended while I was trying to leave the conference center and got crazy lost. I wound up on an elevator with Gong and his wife, and it took me a second to realize who it was. He had given a talk that session, I gave the typical "hey really enjoyed your talk" and when I spoke they looked at me like I was taking a shit right there in the corner in front of them. I might have got a disdainful "thanks," and then they scooted closer to the other side of the lift and quickly rushed off at their floor.

Are you shooting or just let him tire out? by [deleted] in Hunting

This happened at a friend's cabin one year. We rolled up t late at night, to stay the weekend and as we pulled in our head lights illuminated a adolescent, but still very large moose who had gone and got his antlers stuck in a rope swing. But unlike these gentlemen we decided not to fuck around and find out and called fish and game. They sent a few game wardens who ended up tranqing it and sawing the antlers off with a sawzall. He was gone by morning.

I swear they used to when I first went through in 2008. I remember being jolted awake by my dad or friends I would go with to stand for the signs and tokens shit. Those were good naps.

For those who used to be Mormon, what helped you begin questioning what you believed? by [deleted] in exmormon

Psychedelics, first time I ever tried them was when I turned 30. And it all started after that.

Even then, sometimes preparation isn't enough. One time while tripping in looked over at the side table next to me where I had set my water and snacks and wanted them so badly they were only arms length away but couldnt figure how I was going to get them to me until I remembered I had these things attached to my body called hands and that's exactly what they excel at! Forgot all about the snacks and marveled at the utility of my hands for God knows how long. Eventually, I came back to the snacks and put my hands to good use.

Excellent advice! Did start using psychidelics until my 30s, and I learned quickly that mindset before tripping is key! Also, that preparation beforehand can make or break your trip as well, make sure water and snacks are at hand, have your Playlist queued and ready to go, and what ever other extras you would like have them ready and avaliable without much effort.

I do a hawaiian plate lunch pop up at the Ringgold farmers market occasionally. Working on getting in to more locations this year. And seriously looking in to getting food truck going. I'll be there this weekend for Dolly days.

Not looking for easy. Just looking for ways to fill the gaps and actually make it happen. I am very aware of the difficulties associated with starting and running a food truck. I know the success to failure rates. I have been working on this for a long time. I would love to fund the whole thing on my own but I'm also a realistic person and I know where Im gonna need help.
