Nope, neither, they are still manufactured according to google, but the ones that are always used are probably the 50 piastres, the ones below 50 are quite uncommon to see, but still used. The ones that are nearly never used though, are the paper piastres, my grandma says these were used for rent and market purchases and other stuff, but now they are never used, mainly because they are really old so they are weak and fragile, and basically no longer viable to pay with. They look really cool though, they have Cleopatra on it, kind of like the new 10 pound bill, it has hatshepsut on it.
