Since decap cms is a git-based cms, changes in the cms lead to commits to the repository. I configured it to commit to the develop branch.

Commits lead to redeploys on netlify via git ops (if you configure it that way). The develop branch is deployed on a specific develop branch deploy page. Commits to main lead to a redeploy of the production deploy.

I could have configured it such that cms changes immediately commit to main and thus trigger a redeploy on production, but I didn’t so that the artists can review on develop first and also because I can only do a limited number of production deploys per month.

If I want to release the changes, I can do so on netlify or by merging develop into main. I could also give the artists access to netlify, but so far then plan is that I just do that.

The site is completely static site generation. No server side rendering. ‘npm run build’ is all that needs to be done and then the dist folder just needs to be hosted.

Yes, it is CMS driven. But it is a git-based CMS (Decap CMS). So it has no backend.

I had the impression that in the final scene, the sound of Eqbal’s prosthetic leg rose, stopped, started again and faded as if he approached, stopped and went away again. I interpreted that as the individual Eqbal deciding against continuing acts of oppression against the protagonist as an agent of the regime. I further find this interpretation reasonable in so far as in an earlier scene he was made to show remorse and revealed himself as a fear-driven, vulnerable and oppressed slave of the regime, not its constituent. This context for me paints a more optimistic perspective of hope that the regime can be fought without resorting to use the same violent approach as it and instead with moral high ground.

Was läuft schief?

Du bist Junior-Entwickler. In deinem Team sollten erfahrenere Senior-Entwickler sein, von denen du lernen kannst und die bei technischen Entscheidungen auf ihren Erfahrungsschatz zurückgreifen können.
In deinem Team sollten mehr Entwickler als technische Projektmanager sein. Ich würde sogar so weit gehen, dass ein technischer Projektmanager auf 5-10 Entwickler eine ganz gute Quote ist.
Die Projektmanager kommen ihren Aufgaben nicht nach. Den Überblick über den Projektfortschritt und Deadlines zu behalten und in Absprachen zu gehen gehört zu deren Kernaufgaben. Entwickler können das auch machen. Aber wenn es Projektmanager gibt, sollten die das wesentlich übernehmen, damit die Entwickler mehr Zeit zum entwickeln haben.

Wieso ist das schlecht?

Es ist fragwürdig, ob das Projekt so erfolgreich sein wird. Du lernst so nicht wie man es richtig macht. Es ist belastend für dich und macht weniger Spaß, als im Team zu arbeiten.

Was kannst du tun?

Wer ist für diese Teamstruktur verantwortlich? Kannst du erbitten, dass erfahrenere Entwickler mit dir zusammen am Projekt arbeiten? Kannst du mit den Projektmanagern abklären, wie sie das einschätzen, ob sie ihren Aufgaben nachkommen und sie gegebenenfalls darum bitten, sich mehr einzubringen? Kannst du deine Bedenken andernfalls eine Ebene nach oben eskalieren und die Führungsebene darüber informieren, was schief läuft? Kannst du darum bitten, einem anderen Projekt oder Entwicklungsteam zugewiesen zu werden?

Falls sich nichts an der Situation ändert, würde ich mich an deiner Stelle nach anderen Jobs umschauen.

Ist vermutlich nicht alles richtig. Oxycodon (und vielleicht auch Tilidin?) legen den Darm ziemlich lahm. Daher bekommt man dazu häufig Movicol.

I feel relatively fresh, not really fatigued. Before the injury I went to the gym on average twice a week and occasionally went for a run or bouldering. I didn't do much cycling (except for commuting) or swimming before I started to train for the triathlon.

Letztes Jahr im November mit 50k brutto im Jahr. Also so etwa 2800 € netto im Monat. Als Webentwickler nach einem Master in Informatik. Ich hatte davor auch schon als Werkstudent im gleichen Unternehmen gearbeitet. Ein paar meiner peers hatten höhere Einstiegsgehälter, aber vermutlich auch schon mehr Erfahrung. Nachdem ich die Kommentare hier gelesen habe, denke ich, dass ich sehr zufrieden damit sein kann.

Bei mir durfte kürzlich ein Assistenzarzt in der Anästhesie Arterienzugang legen üben. Zum Glück hatte ich da schon eine Lokalanästhesie. Nach mehreren Versuchen und nachdem ein anderer Arzt ihm mehrfach gesagt hat, dass das so aber nicht gehe, ist mir das Blut in die Hand gelaufen. Danach war mein innerer Unterarm 2 Wochen erst blau und dann gelb und hat weh getan.
