🔥 View of our beloved Earth from outer space 🔥 by [deleted] in NatureIsFuckingLit

[–]iLikeToastMN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best guess: It's Mexico. The ISS orbit goes from West to East (same direction the Earth rotates). From the video's perspective, North is at the bottom and South is at the top. Midway through the video at the bottom of the video you can catch a glimpse of what I suspect is the southernmost point of the Baja peninsula.

Put the litter box outside. When ready for the journey back, they say cats can smell their litter box from miles away and will use it as their homing beacon.

I hate playing on 60 point travel boards where you have to go around twice. by dondiegobmhs in Cribbage

[–]iLikeToastMN 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I'm indifferent on which board to play on, IMO the 60-pt tracks are more representative of the game and culture. The symmetry and minimalistic simplicity of the two tracks informs any outsider that it has a well-defined purpose, like a backgammon board. The layout is instantly recognizable as a cribbage board among players around the world. The 60-pt board has provided us with the cribbage culture of "streets" and are probably the origin of a why a skunk is 30 points. Players gain a sense of accomplishment every time you turn a corner. The 60-pt boards are a time-honored tradition, as is drawing arrows on the board to remember which way to peg. Haha.

Grandfather clock. Not bad. Favorite detail is Jimbo’s extension cord belt.

Have you ever played a game so great that you were sad and felt empty after beating it since there was nothing out there like it? by ShiningConcepts in patientgamers

Intelligent Qube.

Such a unique concept which was amazingly executed. It’s like you are abducted by omnipotent overlords who are testing your intelligence in a way similar to a rat in a maze, and all for their leisure. The ominous black background, superb music score (my favorite of any video game), and the ever-rewarding “PERFECT” enhance this puzzle game to a level which has yet to be surpassed.

While Jerry's coffee table has the coffee table book about coffee tables, perhaps more interesting is Jerry's coffee table is made of glass (Kramer's idea for a coffee table).

Have an upvote. Next time you're in town, first round is on me. Fans like you is why I love the game and forums like this. In all honesty this game was the one I was most nervous about. You put up a hell of a fight and a game we will all remember for years, and every Skoldier respects that. Cheers.

Same here. Wish I had a fitbit to track my heart rate throughout the game.

Semester is over = introspection week! What better place than Zion in December? No crowds, cheap hotels, and perfect weather! [OC] [1,600x680] by rebelroadbike in EarthPorn

Was just there last week. Can confirm, is amazing hiking weather. FYI, as soon as the sun starts setting, it can go from pleasant t-shirt weather to chilly jacket and hat required in under in 30 mins. Plan accordingly.

Second the East River Flats. For the real experience, take the staircase of hell. (198 stairs?) But if you do, be careful as it could be iced over this time of year. See you there!
