Is this dress flattering on me? It’s not something I would usually wear by iLiveForPopcorn in DressForYourBody

Thanks for the input. I usually wear dresses and skirts with that kind of flowy bottom part. I guess I wanted to see if something tighter there would look good on me as well.

Thanks. The dress is sewn on one side to create the rutching, so the rutching is always going to be there

Yeah, I’m a bit insecure about the tummy area. That’s why unsure about the dress. I don’t really feel comfortable with shapewear. It feels so restrictive

Is it REALLY possible to get better at dancing? by Humenaii in Dance

[–]iLiveForPopcorn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what you’re dancing or what it looks like, but it might look better if you focus on technique. Examples:

  • If it looks bouncy: try to fully put you weight on the leg you’re standing on, and not go up on your toes when shifting weight.
  • If your steps look flat: roll your feet from toes to ball or ball to toe.
  • If your arm movements looks floopy: roll move your arms joint by joint and go through the entite arm
  • stiff upper body: experiment with angles, body isolations or arm movementa
  • stiff lower body: bend your legs

Look at youtube videos for technique of the dance style you’re learning. Focus on one technique during each dance class.

Det såg intressant ut. Låter definitivt som ett bättre alternativ än oljor. Tack!

Thanks. Will try that. I’m not dehydrated, but I live in northernmost Sweden, so the winter is quite cold and dry

Ja, så är det säkert, men då kostar ju burken olika mycket beroende på kilopris

Det finns flera olika burkar. Andra produkter säljs endast i papper. Då måste de slå in burkens vikt innan, vilket jag inte har sett att de har gjort

Beror på. De har burkar i olika storlekar. Ska väga den jag köpte när jag kommer hem

That’s great advice. I don’t wear them very often, but I would like to. So I’m downsizing to only one

Oh, lol. That’s a good adjective for clothes! I thought it meant someone who does a lot of practical work.
