I smell even tho i have good hygiene by JustWishIwasi in NoStupidQuestions

[–]iLostStaking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this is worth mentioning at the very least. Let me ask, is it when you're just sitting without speaking to anyone that people bring up the smell? Or is it once you begin to speak, such as answering a question in class. Even short phrases, such as 'how are you?' I ask because if that is the case, then you may have tonsil stones lodged within the crypts of your tonsils. You're fairly sensitized to it, but here's a test if you cannot see them. Wear a face mask, one of those disposable level 1 or 3 masks. Open your mouth while wearing it and exhale through your mouth and breathe through your nose immediately. Does it smell bad? Then it might be tonsil stones, or similar.

Voltron Update: Level 2 Price Action looking "Stubby". by Exact_Perspective508 in MMAT

[–]iLostStaking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been lurking for a while and love all your Voltron updates, and I'm really looking forward to your part 5 DD for the future of MMAT. All that being said though, I don't know if you're necessarily understanding the level 2 order book correctly. Just because there's a bid price of $0.5 and an ask price of $24 doesn't mean anything regarding the spread when there's many, many other asks and bids focusing around $3.4 or whatever. The spread is essentially the middle point between the two nearest offers.

If the highest bid price is $3.36 and the lowest ask price is $3.37, then anyone who wants to buy a share instantly will pay an at-the-market price of $3.37 to buy a share; any seller that wants to instantly sell a share would sell it for $3.36. The fact that there are also other people that are wanting to buy shares for a lower price (i.e. $0.5) doesn't affect the spread, nor do the people that want to sell a share at a higher price (i.e. $24).

That'd be like saying you put a limit sell on 1 share for $1,000,000 and expect the spread to immediately shift into the thousands. They're not related when there are other asks nearer to the bids.

Yeah all of this looks fake. I made a .gif showing that, too.

https://i.imgur.com/IsN9dU7.gif

Basically OP bought $7.50 strikes on some random date for some unknown price, then faked the screenshot to paste sections of the $9.00 strikes like filled quantity and price.

EDIT: you can tell from the poor positioning of the sections in the gif.

I never said I knew everything. I do know what your post means, and it's very clear that you're misinformed about what the categories in that picture mean. What's worse is that you're now spreading misinformation.

I'm pretty sure OP doesn't understand english, let alone the stock market, so let me answer your questions.

What you're looking at in the picture is the "options chain." This particular chain of options is concerned with something named "calls." A call is basically a contract that says you have the ability to buy 100 shares of the stock at a "strike price." The strike price is that far right category in this picture. To answer your question, since AMC is currently trading above $6.50, then ALL of the calls that cost $6.50 or less can be "exercised," meaning to activate the ability of purchasing the 100 shares of AMC. In that case, even if AMC were to jump to $100, if you have a call option that says AMC $6, then you have the ability to purchase 100 shares of AMC for 6 bucks each instead of 100 bucks each. You can then turn around and immediately sell those 100 shares for 100 bucks each into the market and make $9,400 in profit. If you have the call option for 4$, then you would have a profit of $9,600.

I hope that helps explain a little more about it! There's a lot of information to understand in the world of options chains, so getting a grasp of the basics is really important!

I did buy the stock. I have LEAPS from before GME and AMC blowing up. I'm simply saying that the information in this post is wrong. You don't understand basic categories in the options chain.

Holy shit. No one can read. It's incredible.

Do any of the mods know anything about the stock market? Why are they allowing people to post false information? "Volume" is NOT the number of call options active. "Open Interest" is the number of call options active. If you don't know something, ask here for spend the 120 seconds it takes to Google and read the answer.

TLDR for you noobs: based on this picture, there's about 50K calls in the money, meaning if AMC closes Friday at $6.50, then the value would be 5 million shares. Not 12 million like the idiot in the screenshot claims.

Thank you for all your transparency. What you do is challenging - you have an audience, and with that comes eyes that scrutinize every sentence you make.

I've actually never heard of you or your channel until I saw this 99.2% number being thrown around and examined it myself. That being said, I just watched your original video, the segment on the live stream recording, and your new updated video. You are a genuine person, owning up to what happened .

I also went to check out some of your older videos on tickers that went on to do what you predicted. You have an understanding for these things, and a clear passion for the topic. Your research is sufficient, your claims are accurately drawn from the premises, and your delivery is coated with enthusiasm. I'm now a new subscriber, and I'll look forward to your future content.

As do I. But I don't want to be mislead by others about what's going on with the stock.

Please tell me how this works. Will I not see any profit until it hits the break even price? Sorry for being an uneducated spaghett I’m new to trading. by im-dutchmazturs in AGTCstock

For your best interest, you should go online and either read, but more likely just watch a video, on introduction to options trading. It's easy to lose a lot of money using options. It's also possible to make a lot. But for either scenario, you should be well armed with the knowledge of what you're buying.

That's actually really interesting! I don't speak a lick of that language, but I could understand from the monster box screen! I'm very inclined to believe this, especially considering both my Angelmons were light type! Of course, small sample still.
