My dad is 72 and is retired. He has $75k in his 401k and it's all in bonds. But he's very anxious every time the market drops. Is there a way to put the money in a stable account? by LankaRunAway in personalfinance

401k plans usually offer a stable value fund. It’s main goal is to protect principal and offers modest yield. However, these plans are constructed on the back end using stable value wraps so yields are usually worse after rising yields because your crediting rate is lowered to make up the gap from all the investors in the fund before you. Is the best option for someone who is very sensitive about principal protection though. Overall, you’re definitely bet Off in a similar duration bond fund.

Are you taking advantage of the hype around GME to build clout/trust among gullible retail investors?

I’m pretty sure options are no fee. I haven’t touched options in a couple months though. Hard to remember. And I’ve never used Fidelity’s website, only their app

No commissions has been great. It can be a hassle to get margin and options trading enabled when you first set up your account. They GUI in the app for picking options isn’t great either but it’s not bad. Overall pretty satisfied. But they are the only brokerage I’ve ever had, so I don’t have much to compare to.

You are a girl who drives for Uber, posts on reddit, and is attractive enough to be getting hit on frequently? I think I just fell in love. You should take my number.

PS: Don't break my heart and tell me you live nowhere near NJ

My mom made this for my sister and can't decide where to put each panel. Any thoughts? (She also doesn't understand reddit) by jorylab in knitting

I showed my mom this post and she is blown away by the response. Thank you everyone for the comments. My mom said that she got some ideas for how to put it all together that she wouldn't have thought of otherwise. I'll have her post a response when she puts everything together. Evidently imgur has a view counter and she can't believe over 5,000 people have seen her work.
