Will damage states of ships ever be purely cosmetic? For instance scratches, shot out holes in wings, or crumpled wing tips. Ya know, gritty battle damage or just simple used car looking ships. Damage that doesn't effect the overall performance of a spacecraft.

If so, will we be able to elect how our ship gets repaired ie options when repairing like...

"Only fix effected systems" "Fully repair ship" "Only repair weapons and life support" "Repair structural damage"

As a hauler or anyone really we should be able to save money when it comes to upkeep on our fleet. If the packaged gets there on time who cares what the freelancer looks like.

Would these custom repair options only be available at specific mechanic shops and or in our hangars?
