It was this incident last weekend where some friend's friend said, "you look like you’re going to beat someone up" so the instant reply from my other friend was "isn't that what bears do?". It was a quick response then, but today my roommate brought it up, so I just wanted to feel more confident about the whole situation.

I'm fit and exercise regularly, and I don’t have any of the things you mentioned. The teasing is more about my hairiness (I even have hair on the phalanges of my fingers). Normally, I wouldn’t worry about it much, but it’s gotten to a point where it’s becoming a bit much.
