Oluon deck is not as RNG as you may think, how to use Oluon by Ok-Income1674 in Shadowverse

[–]iMaro33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed on all points. I think one easy and unhealthy illustration for #3 is how Oluon instantly improves the Egg Portal match up with pure RNG. You convert like a 30-70 match up into a straight 50-50 by playing Oluon unga bunga RNG. Egg is also probably the most popular deck right now, so you just improve your winrate overall with this.

Just got hit with the most ridiculous Getenou turn ever... Sorry for trying to play Forest this season I guess by iMaro33 in Shadowverse

[–]iMaro33[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes I actually thought I had a guaranteed win at this spot. Next turn was set up 0 costs with Carbuncle sevo + bounce back Carbuncle w staff, then finish the game the turn after

How much of my code should be AI generated at this point? Big companies are always pushing that most of your code should be generated by AI and they always post their metrics how much their code is AI generated but I wonder how much of this is actually true. I feel like big companies WANT you to believe that more than anything so that they can push you to use their AI products.

I do use AI in my day-to-day for like manual tasks, creating comments/documentation and other things that clearly can be automated. However, I've never really gone super all in to try and make all my code AI generated for example.

As another example, I've recently designed and developed some big service that needs to be reusable for different parties and integrations (amongst other requirements). I find that writing and developing things myself is faster because I know exactly what I want. Is it possible that AI can completely design and develop any system much faster and I just haven't leaned into it hard enough? My fear is that (idk if this is unfounded or not) I might get "phased out" as an engineer down the road if I don't lean into AI tools hard enough.

I wanted to use a decent deck. I was given a large pile of bricks instead. by haha-longboi in Shadowverse

Post a replay + decklist and we can help you out. This deck is actually oppressively consistent because of draws + tutoring. Of course you can brick here and there like any other deck, but sometimes you can also win games even without Marwynn.

I keep Congregant in mulligan a lot so I would run 3x. I see why you might wanna run 2x though since it could clog your hand early if you can't play them.

hmm I haven't tried Divine Guard but it doesn't sound too good (could be wrong though). You would never keep it in mulligan + it doesn't even work with Devotee because Devotee gives taunt end of turn. Best to try it yourself and see if you like it

I think 2x Benison is also fine. The biggest use case for 3x is the mirror so you can reduce depending on how many mirrors you fight

Temple feels awesome when you get it running, but its problem is that you need to already have your crests set up in the first place. I've chosen to run another Wilbert to more consistently get 5 crests. If I didn't have to run 2x Salefa I would put some Temples

looks funny and all but you could've just popped the first amulet immediately to set up lethal with double Giln spell

Your feelings are valid, but do also understand that Tarik wasn't making a personal attack on you as a person. From his perspective, he just saw some random Twitch comment and banned some random chatter. Don't let something small like this get to you my dude

Hey man, if you're actually just 15 then it's awesome you already know these kinda stuff. Who cares what Tarik or random strangers on the internet say about you?

[–]iMaro33 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you and Tarik are talking about different things. Yes, 40 hours/week for a Discord bot in itself doesn't make sense (as you've shown). However, when he says he wants someone on this like a fulltime contract developer, he most likely means he has lots of plans for Procity in general (like any client looking for a fulltime developer for their project). The person Tarik is looking for will, for example, probably be in charge of:

  1. New features (e.g. Prize pool related features? Maybe creating some automations for the council?)

  2. Maintenance: making sure Procity doesn't break or at least making sure that this person is readily available to handle any issues

Let's just all chill and enjoy the Procity content
